Dobbeltalbummet veksler mellem voldsomme eksplosioner af metallisk energi og helt stillestående instrumental sang, og det er ikke nogen dårlig kombination ... Forskellen på Johann Sebastian Bach og fætrene Bernhard og Ludwig er, at Bach hele tiden overrasker med sin kendte stramme melodiske struktur, der ender med at få overvældende virkninger. Men særligt Bernhards ottesatsede suite er lyttetiden værd med virkelig smukke sentimentale syngende satser i al deres melankolske langsommelighed"
